In 1997 Scranton Equity incorporated a "Big A" auto parts dealership into the cooperative to better serve the Scranton Community and area producers. Recently the store became a part of the "pronto parts franchise" and moved to a new facility adjoining the new tire and truck center north of Scranton.

By 2002 sales had grown to a quarter million dollars in sales. The new store maintains a large selection of parts and assessories ro enable our staff go help get farmers and ranchers back in operation with minimum downtime.

Before serving as parts store manager Kim Hodell had served as a mechanic, business owner, and ag producer. We feel that Kim offers the right balance of experience to offer producers the service they need to keep things running in the field - or on the road.
