This past year has seen many changes in our accounting department. We changed our software company in February 2004 and spent the next few months "getting acquainted" with our new computer system. The upgrade went smoothly and we have overcome many of the obstacles that a new system can present. We appreciate everyone's patience while we were in this transition!

The Central Office is the central point of all the accounting functions for Scranton Equity. Renee, Roxy, and Pat (not pictured) manage the accounts receivable, accounts payable, patronage, payroll, quarterly reports, and profit and loss statments. If you need assistance in any of these areas, feel free to contact one of us. We are available to help with whatever accounting question that arises.

We ask all of our customers to keep your customer records updated with us. We need current address (3 line), social security number, and birth date in our files. Please check your accounts to make sure we have this information.

Spring is just around the corner! Please know what your credit limit is and stay within that limit. It is inconvenient for the customer and the employee to have this rule enforced during such a busy time. If this is an issue that you do not want to deal with while you are busy in the field, please prepay on your account to avoid going over your credit limit. In fairness to all of our customers, credit limits are enforced even if your account is in current standing. If you need to know your credit limit, please give us a call.

GOOD NEWS!! Our new computer software offers on-line viewing of your customer statements. It also gives you the ability to look up products and see the total purchase of that particular product during a specified time period. There will be more functions available in the future. If you are interested in going on-line, contact Roxy to get signed up.
